About Christian Jacob Ramón
Jacob is a filmmaker and playwright born and raised in McAllen, Texas. After earning a Film Studies degree at Columbia University, he moved to Austin, TX where he made his first short film, “Tic”, which was the recipient of “Best Film” Award at Austin Spotlight Festival and “Best Drama” award at Austin Indie Fest. His next film, “Hard” had its world premiere at the 2021 Inside Out Film Festival in Toronto, and was screened at the AFS ShortCase at SXSW 2022. He currently works at Austin Film Society, and is in post-production on his latest short film.
