Tarik takes himself to a woodland cottage to escape the pain and confusion of an impending divorce. Whilst enlisting Jonas to fix the broken water he begins to uncover and embrace his hidden desires – a journey of self-discovery and healing.



 

Stille Dorst is a short film about Tarik, a 32 year old Moroccan man, who spends his time alone in a woodland cottage on the Veluwe after divorce with wife. Shortly after his arrival, the plumbing seem to be broken, whereas Jonas, the owner of the cottage, comes over to repair it. From that moment on, Tarik is confronted with feelings he has been suppressing his entire life.
