David is a beautiful and lyrical film about the smaller less dramatic seeming moments in life that can only be captured by true poets.

Touching and quiet short-easily one of the best gay shorts ever. There’s not much of a story but it’s beautifully told. The actions between the two are not shown in a positive or negative light-no judgment is passed which is very refreshing. Escobar is OK (he seems uncomfortable) but Espindola is perfect. He has an angelic face and has to express all his emotions through facial expressions and his eyes. He pulls it off perfectly. Don’t be surprised if you’re a little misty-eyed at the end. A 10.
