HOW TO MAKE A HILARIOUSLY STEREOTYPICAL GAY FILM
BY: DANIEL VILLARREAL

9.11.2012

The 16th Lisbon Gay and Lesbian Film Festival kicks off on September 21st. And to celebrate the uniqueness of contemporary gay film, they’ve made a funny event trailer showing the most stereotypical gay film of all time.

With a hackneyed storyline of a jealous cowboy takes revenge on his cheating hairdresser boyfriend, it’s the sort of film that would have gay blogs moaning. But as a minute-and-a-half fictional film trailer shot in a 1970s grindhouse style, we kind of love it.

Plus, if you’re a fan of modern gay cinema, you should check out the festival’s actual lineupβ€”it’s got lots of beautiful images and sexual heat to spareβ€”wow!
