The world’s oldest Kink/Fetish contest – International Mr. Leather – isn’t just for ‘white, gay males’ anymore. Now, straights, the disabled and transgender men come together to compete for this honor of masculinity. And it was all started 30 years earlier by a man who took the risk of opening Chicago’s first Leather bar in the 1950’s. This sexy, smart, surprisingly upbeat doc dares to ask: Is there a bit of Kink Crusader in us all?

Window into the world of leather daddies….

Informative documentary about an international gay leather event held in Chicago. Was surprised to see how committed the founders of this event have been and how close knit this community seems to be. As a gay person myself, my biggest road block to full acceptance of this fetish lifestyle is that it seems to be all about SEX. For most people, sex becomes less and less a part of their life as they age. The looks go; the hormones drop and other things take precedence.
