When James Bond Fantasies Meet Bohemian Chaos: A Hilarious Take on Modern Love and the Search for Mr. Right
Miss Moneypenny (2015), directed and written by Oliver Mason, is a short comedy film that follows Ben, a young man navigating the complex world of gay dating. After a casual encounter with Matt, a self-proclaimed bohemian, Ben struggles to focus during their conversation about seeing each other again. While Matt enthusiastically brags about his eccentric lifestyle, Ben’s thoughts begin to wander, imagining everything from James Bond scenarios to the absurdities of modern life. This short film humorously captures the challenges of making meaningful connections while dating, especially when one’s mind is elsewhere.
