Father Jack is imprisoned for a crime that he has committed. The inmates suspect him of paedophilia and begin to persuade his teenage cellmate of this. His true crime is confessed to a prison guard with whom Jack has fallen in love.



 

“Release” (2010) is gay film, directed and written by Christian Martin and Darren Flaxstone. The film stars Bernie Hodges, Daniel Brocklebank, and Garry Summers, and it deals with story about gay love, faith, and betrayal, as well as the struggles of a man imprisoned for a crime he has committed.

Father Jack is in prison for a crime that he confesses to a prison officer whom he is in love with and who secretly visits him in his prison cell. Other inmates believe he is in prison for pedophilia and want to achieve their own “justice”.
