Down in Paris follows Richard, a gay filmmaker in his forties who abandons his own film shoot and wanders through Paris at night. Along the way he meets drivers, hustlers, ex-lovers, prophets and ghosts from his past, each stripping away a layer of ego until only a scared, honest man is left.
