Sexy and sweet. A great short film! Reminds me of Home For The Holidays with Holly Hunter, but with a better storyline and more of a zinger at the end. Hilarious! Totally put me in the mood and made me laugh out loud more than once. My only complaint is that it isn’t longer. Where’s the feature? I’d love to see Fruitcake in a compilation of other award winning short films. The actors are right on. Robert Borzych, Fabio Sandolo, Georgia Jean, Hilary Schwartz and Rita Furlong as well as the rest of the cast were great. Director Jaymes Thompson was perfect – Not too much. It could have very easily been heavy-handed. He handled the subtleties and subtext impressively. He didn’t try to “dazzle” me and just told a story – Very well. Hope to see more stuff from these guys in the near future.
