Rise of the Queltin“Chronicles of Albanor” is a fantasy film series set in the world of Albanor. The budding director Dominik Schumacher has been working on this project with his co-director Kath Fritz since last year and would like to tell many stories over the coming years.

The concept that the two guys from Cologne are pursuing with this film series are to tell exciting stories that subconsciously address global problems, such as racism and exclusion in their latest adventure “The Prisoners of Teldrem”.

The special thing about this series is the mixture of the fantasy and musical genres, which get very little attention in Germany. The aim behind this is to establish new stories and new narrative possibilities that can be used through this unusual combination.

Last year the young directors successfully completed a test phase in this world with the short film “Rise of the Queltin” and are now ready for an official first part.

Filming started!

On May 17th, the shooting of the first chapter “The Prisoners of Teldrem” started.

Currently, 15 days of shooting are planned, which will take place until the beginning of July. The finished film is expected to be released in spring 2022.
