Stranger Out of You is a 2019 psychosexual thriller short film written, directed by, and starring Matthew Risch. The film follows a man whose obsession with an attractive stranger leads him into a sinister and surreal pattern of behavior.
The story begins with a chance meeting at a bar. A "spellbound admirer" becomes obsessed with recreating this initial encounter, returning to the same bar night after night. As he continues his naive attempts to find the man again, his obsession morphs into possession, and a sinister, surreal pattern emerges that ventures beyond reality.
