The Spanish are truly amazing. To be honest, I mostly associated their films with Pedro Almadóvar, transvestites and Antonio Banderas.
This movie left me a little taken aback.
When I started watching it I thought it was another softcore comedy. In one room, three thick međedas. The two are making out, and the runner hurries them to finish as soon as possible because he needs to clean the apartment. These completely flushed fucks are getting better than the woods. Then the scene of a thicker but shorter penis and condoms, then lifting the legs… you know. Almost hardcore.
I already named the film Bear in action.
When the media finally left, Pedro started cleaning the apartment. The doorbell rings and Pedro’s sister appears with her eight-year-old son Bernardo.
Violeta goes to India with her hippie lover and asks Pedro to protect her son. Bernardo, very attached to his mother, does not want to spoil her vacation and stays with his uncle in Madrid.
From that moment on, Pedro completely changes his lifestyle and devotes himself completely to his nephew. Dona Tereza, a girl pleasing to the eye, helps him and looks after him while Pedro is at work.
Bernardo enjoys their company but still counts the days until his mother will return from India.
And in order for the film not to end so quickly, one day they report that Violeta ended up in prison because they found drugs on her at the border.

Bernardo must stay with his uncle.
The film is full of touching scenes in which Bernardo talks about his mother, but also about how much he loves his uncle.
However, no matter how hard Pedro tries to change his lifestyle, he cannot change his temper. He is still looking for ways to occasionally get laid in the dark rooms of gay bars, and in the recesses of disreputable parks.
When Bernardo’s grandmother finds out that Bernardo is with Pedro, she tries in every way to bring the child to her. however, neither Berbardo nor Pedro want that. Grandma even hires a detective to take pictures of Pedro farting in the parks and blackmail him into giving her the child. However, nothing works for her. only when she learns that Pedro has AIDS does she manage to agree with him that Bernardo move in with her. Looking at the scene when the two parted, tears filled Sumi’s eyes. really great acting.
What’s shocking to me is that a man gets really engrossed in the film with all his emotions, cries, stops breathing, when in the very next scene there’s a shameless cock smoking. So that with tears in his eyes he directly continues to watch oral.
If it weren’t for that, this achievement would be at the very top. It has a beautiful story, excellent acting, overflowing with emotions, and all wrapped in the recognizable style of contemporary Spanish cinema.
Some scenes were simply forced into this film. No wonder the Americans cut it before showing it on their continent.
Otherwise, the film was well received and awarded at many gay festivals.
