I just watched this short and it really threw me for a loop. If you are expecting a sweet, traditional story about accepting who you are, this is definitely not it. It is dark, chaotic, and sometimes a bit hard to watch, but in a way that feels incredibly real. It captures that messy phase of youth where bad decisions like risky hookups and taking sketchy drugs feel like the only way to cope with real pain and the loss of a close friend.
What I really like about this film is that it doesn't try to wrap everything up in a neat little bow at the end. It just shows how losing someone can make you spiral, and how sometimes your friends are just as broken as you are, trying to hold it all together. It is a heavy watch, but if you want something that tackles the gritty, unspoken parts of gay youth, you should give it a look.
