“Status Updates” follows two lovable millenials through their day-to-day struggles and joys as they catalog every moment on social media. As best friends, they share a similar outlook on life and can sometimes be found finishing each other’s sandwiches. But, they put the yin to the other’s yang. One’s a charismatic boy toy. The other’s an awkward introvert. One dresses like he’s always on display. The other dresses like he doesn’t own a mirror. One’s a gay nerd, and the other is a heterosexual hottie. But come what may, they’re the first to have each other’s backs, be each other’s cheering squad, and comment on each other’s Facebook post.
