NaPoIA is an elite Nazi school where new Nazi-warriors, disciplined, indomitable killers are harshly trained. By 1945, about 15,000 students, fanatical robotic warriors, had passed through that school.
The film deals with the story of friendship and love between two students of that school. Friedrich is a teenager from the lower class of German society at the time, but he is a talented boxer. In one match, one of the directors of the NaPolA school noticed him and suggested that he submit an application for admission to the most elite school of that time. Friedrich is delighted with the offer, and sees going to that school as an escape from the poverty of his family.
At that academy, he meets Albrecht, the son of the school director, with whom he forms an unusually strong friendship, which, in the conditions they found themselves in, must not be expressed with too much emotion.
They go through the unprecedented torture that the school will find for them, learning military techniques, martial arts, weapons and everything necessary to one day send them to the front.
Albrecht is physically and emotionally weaker than Friedrich, but with his help he somehow manages to keep up at school. In addition, his father is such a fanatic that he has no compassion even for his own son.
